Ewan, Ellin, Lucy, Ben and Jo are doing a sponsored fancy dress walk, on Sunday 27th November, in aid of Leonardo’s Den and Lancaster Homeless Action.
They plan to walk along Morecambe promenade from Happy Mount Park to the cafe at the end of the Stone Jetty – about 2 miles.
Plans for costumes are afoot but seem to change by the hour!
If anyone would like to join us please get in touch or talk to Jo at the group.

Well our spare room is filling up with lots of supplies for Leonardo’s Den!
We visited a scrapstore in Blackburn which was like an Aladdin’s cave, filled with all sorts of fabulous stuff. We filled a shopping trolley and could have done that several times over with all the different items available.
We also have some supplies which we specifically bought in and other items which have been kindly donated by friends, family and even people we have never met!
We’ve had a couple of cash donations too which has been wonderful in helping us get enough stuff to get started. We have plans for things that we’d like to get further down the line but we definitely have enough to keep us going for now.
Its getting really exciting and Wednesday 5th October at 5.30pm is getting closer and closer – looking forward to seeing you there!
